Vote Verification
We have taken a number of steps to ensure the votes recorded are legitimate and secure. These steps include:
- Ensuring that an individual cannot vote for the same film multiple times by email address
- Validating votes against SGIFF ticket buyer information by email address
- Analyzing geographic location of votes against voters’ IP addresses
- Comparing vote count to cinema house size and online viewers
- Only one vote per film will be valid.
