All tickets once purchased will be non-refundable and non-exchangeable. A refund will only be made for a cancelled or rescheduled film. Please check the film ratings before you make your purchase.
Are there fewer seats available for cinema screenings?
Due to the reduced capacity in cinema halls, tickets are more limited than usual. Please check sgiff.com for ticketing updates to verify if seats are still available. Remember to book your tickets early to avoid disappointment!
Visiting the Cinema
Why must I download the TraceTogether application?
Starting from 26th October, it is mandatory for all cinema-goers to use the TraceTogether app or token for SafeEntry into all cinemas in Singapore. You will not be allowed into the premises without it. For more information on TraceTogether, visit tracetogether.gov.sg.
What is SGIFF doing to keep everyone safe?
SGIFF is dedicated to the safety and well-being of our patrons, filmmakers, guests and staff, as we strive to share a wonderful cinematic experience during the Festival. We are working together with all the venues to implement safe management measures in accordance with the latest authorities’ directives. We have also catered additional time after every screening to carry out enhanced cleaning and disinfecting between sessions. Hand sanitisers will be readily available at key touch points around the venues. Temperature screening will be carried out at the point of entry into the building or mall where screening halls and cinemas are located. If your temperature is above 37.5०C, you will be turned away at the entrance.
How can I play my part to keep everyone safe?
By keeping your face mask on at all times when you are at the venue and enjoying the screenings. Always remain in the seats assigned to you and do not tamper with safe distancing measures and markers implemented by the cinemas. And if you are feeling unwell, please see a doctor and stay at home. Thank you for helping everyone stay safe while enjoying the Festival!
What time can I enter the screening halls?
Doors will open approximately 15 minutes prior to each screening. We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes earlier so you have ample time to go through the various SafeEntry processes required of you. Many entry points into buildings are still closed and it might take you slightly longer to find the right entrance if it is the first time you are visiting these venues.
